Cheese and Wine Evening incorporating the PTA Annual General Meeting (AGM)
(or virtual event if lockdown restrictions are in place)
We would like to give notice of the AGM of the Ashley Down Primary School Parent Staff Association (PSA) to be held on Thursday September 16th. The evening will start at 8pm with the PSA Annual General Meeting, followed by Cheese and Wine [if restrictions allow] in the school hall.
Find out how the funds you’ve helped to raise have helped your children and the school
The PSA plays a vital part in the school community and all parents, as members of the PSA, are invited to support the AGM. This is your chance to hear and see how the funds you have helped to raise have been used for the benefit of the children/students at our school.
Elect your PSA Committee for 2021 - 2022
The AGM is also an opportunity for you to elect the PSA Committee for 2021 - 2022, who represent the association throughout the forthcoming year. Nominations should be sent in advance of the AGM for anyone wishing to stand as an Officer or Ordinary Committee Member, for the first time (NOMINATIONS FORM BELOW and also available in paper format at the school office). Existing committee members wishing to stand for re-election do not have to be nominated again but should inform the PSA of their intention to stay in their role. As our PSA is a registered charity, all committee members automatically become Trustees of the Charity. Before submitting your nomination form, please read the Charity Commission publication ‘The Essential Trustee – What you need to know (CC3)’: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-essential-trustee-what-you-need-to-know-cc3.
Submit your nominations by Monday, 6th September 2021
Please submit your Nomination Form, or return your paper copy to the school office, by Monday 6th September 2021 at the latest.
